This anaerobic formula works best with brines or other waters high in total solids. It contains an enriched matrix
of synthetic seawater. The sterile broth has visible solids and a nail for the iron source. Positive tests are
seen as turbidity which will not settle out on standing. Sulfate reducers present will black the media as with the
API SRB formula.
Normal salinity approximates that of seawater but this can be varied to match the sample. Shelf life is 6 months when
refrigerated. The bacteria bottles come standard 288 to a case.
